We competed in the Scottish Historic Rally Championship for several years with BVJ 671B a Mk1 Morris Cooper 'S' .

After a number of years in Historics, the old 'S' was reluctantly sold on to make way for a bright yellow BMW Cooper when we 'came over all modern!

BVJ 671B is in good hands and still being campaigned to this day.

We compete on selected rounds of the Scottish Rally Championship and Scottish Tarmac Rally Championship and also the infamous Tour of Mull.

With the Cooper proving quite competetive and reliable, the thirst for more power led us to team up with Mini Sport and the new Cooper 'S' was built in my garage.

The new rally car was completed in the nick of time and debuted on The Tour of Mull where we ran as Team Mini Sport with three other identical Cooper 'S's.

After 17 of 19 fast and bumpy special stages we were forced to retire our car with a mechanical gremlin! Team Mini Sport did go on to claim the Team Prize though and Daniel Harper planted his Cooper 'S' in 4th place overall !!

The new car is a totally different animal to the Yellow Cooper so we are aiming for some good results in the coming season....
